Not an exaggerated one, but it would be pretty cool in situations like crashing ships, or being hit by debris.
So currently there is 2 types of ships, large and small maybe their could be a third which are controlled from large ships cockpits through some menu like a drone or something. This could be used for military or mining purposes, probably both :D
All objects in game (which don't have there thrusters enabled) would be affected by collisions and gravity which would change that objects velocity.
So I imagine that to work in this way: You build a spaceship with a warp module that uses lots of energy while used. It would consume a big place, because it would be end-game stuff. It could overheat, so you can't warp into the infinite, it depends on the cooling. There would be a material that you have to place into it, and it would be consumed over time. What it is: A block/system that you set up on your conveyor network that tells what item and how much goes to which assembler/refinery/etc. It could have a way of "tagging" items, setting priorities and grouping them so that having multiple refineries and assemblers will be less time consuming and more efficient. I am getting sick of looking for a specific cargo in one of the 20 other cargo and refineries and assemblers and whatever else that's on inventory page. Sure i can rename it and search, but it gets annoying when you do it 500 times in 30 min (dramatization). When looking at the control panel list of names such as - interior light 25 - for example, you have no idea which light that is. I think it would be awesome to be able to go find the light. Even if you know where that light is on your ship, but not in the control panel list and you want to find it, say, to change its color, you can go up to that light and look at its name, then go find it in the control panel. I get that at the moment, spinning the sun is easier for day night cycles. Yes. But here is a suggestion on how to make it better. First, have the sun stopped. second, make the planets be in there own world or area. So when looking from afar the planet would spin on itself. While building a large armored ship I noticed that after a while it gets really difficult to figure out where your conveyor lines run inside the hull. It would be nice to have some see-through mode where you can spot the entire conveyor-network through all other blocks. Pipes in the game are a little over powered right now, and sometimes you lose idea of where the actual materials are because they are linked up in one whole mass of piping. It would be cool if you had to request for ex 5 metal plates from one container, and then you press request, then it will arrive shortly after or pop out of a pipe...
