If survival is implemented, they should have it that the astronauts must get food, by making a farm that needs power to produce food. Water could probably be combined with food. Sleep, you could need to make an astronaut bed that they use in the ISS. Oxygen you get from farms or by phytoplankton farms. Normal farms produce less oxygen then phytoplankton farms. This would allow people build cities that could sell stuff. ...more »
All objects in game (which don't have there thrusters enabled) would be affected by collisions and gravity which would change that objects velocity.
I think, when there is multiplayer it needs customizable informative signs that can be opened and show as window. (Its really uncomfortable to place beacons, it spams on screen)
Well at the moment, in survival for example we have a place where we could place a block but we can't because there is a asteroid in the way, i would love to see this limitation removed so we can partially build into the asteroids and make it look good. It can even nice for creative, build a tunnel tru a asteroid of blocks then dig out the rock inside the tunnel itself only? then the tunnel will took perfectly attached ...more »
I think this would be useful for making larger small ships, instead of just using the canopy style cockpit. Personally I hate the idea of building armour blocks over my cockpit when making armoured ships/vehicles, I would like to have a seat style one that I can walk to inside. I think having glass panels and Control Stations/Flight Seat style cockpits for small ships would allow for a much more versatile range of designs. ...more »
This would not only allow ships to recharge upon landing on a station, but if you put an expensive large bulky solar array your ship and don't want to take it into combat. You could detach the part and let it drift while you take a now more maneuverable battle ship into battle with a reactor that uses uranium. (or make batteries solar friendly) This would make those inverted landing gears on stations very useful for ...more »
I believe that the introduction of shields would be a great addition to ships and stations.
At the moment, when meteor strikes happen, they bomb the hell out of my station or my ships. It would be fantastic if there was some sort of way to protect my stations so that I don't have to go and weld the armor back up, or replace reactors or solar panels.
Right now, stations are aligned in the absolute space, not relative to the current position. This means there are only 6 spots on a planet where you can easily build level floored stations. It would be nice if the base grid was somehow aligned with the planet surface to it is much easier to build a station with a level floor.
I think it would be awesome if there were moons that orbit some planets. the difference from the moons and planets is the moons are much smaller, can be moved by enough thrusters/gyros, and you can dig all the way to their cores (so, small enough that digging all the way through won't cause a ton of lag.)
flying spacestation moon ftw!
This idea is not new, but it would be nice to add it into this game - textures, which you can see only from given distance. Why? Even a nice texture is not visible from larger distance, and surface becomes flat and unicolored and lose any pattern. This type of texture becomes rendered when block texture is not well recognisable yet, and creates a new, interesting pattern on the object. Texture doesn't need to be any bigger ...more »
