Same Ship Rotors

I personally am sick that the part attached to the rotor HAS to become a different ship. I want to be able to create deploy able landing gear BUT, can't control them because they have become different ship. Creates issues towards creativity.

Shared energy between them would be a minimum if you ask me.

P.S. great job with survival mode

So I imagine that to work in this way: You build a spaceship with a warp module that uses lots of energy while used. It would consume a big place, because it would be end-game stuff. It could overheat, so you can't warp into the infinite, it depends on the cooling. There would be a material that you have to place into it, and it would be consumed over time. EMP weapon

Electromagnetic pulse will be very useful for shutdown enemy ships and basically slowing them down. In my idea hole system may work as cannon on large ships and requires some amount of uranium to fire. When enemy ship is hit, every electronic device is turned off and player (your opponent) must turn it on again but it will cost him some uranium (or he may lost some with hit). Geothermal power

With the introduction of planets, perhaps molten cores could be implemented. With a deep enough tunnel into a planet, geothermal generators would be possible as a source of constant energy. It would be a large scale project to drill deep enough to tap into the high temperatures of planetary cores, but in the end it would be a huge payoff for free energy not dependent on sunlight. What say you?

Battery banks

I'm sure this has already been suggested, but I feel battery banks are a necessary inclusion for the functioning of solar panels. Much like the way reactors currently hold uranium, battery banks would be a similarly sized block which holds a charge. This would make large solar panel arrays necessary for a ship to be self sufficient, but they could also bask in the sun to gain extra fuel between flights in ships with less ...more »

Sensible, scientifically tenable, late game fusion power.

This idea, or others like it have been suggested before, but none of the suggestions thus far have really been in keeping with the "feel" of the game, if you know what I mean.
