Automated repair [drones] that repair your ship to be like new

If we can save our ships to a blueprint, it'd also be great to see an automated ship-repair functionality that would put work into reverting your ship to its blueprint shape. So, look at it this way: you've just escaped from combat, you've just dented your ship in an asteroid field, or you're crawling away from a battle you just won with heavy damage taken. Grappling hook tool for boarding.

I suggest some form of tool for high-speed boarding of ships, like a handheld or small ship mounted grappling hook device. I think this is necessary because if two ships are moving at a high speed side-by-side and you try to board the other one you are left behind.

 

This would be especially necessary in multiplayer PvP.

Tractor beam.

A simple weapon like attachment that can grab objects smaller than the ship it's attached to. Could be used for both combat and mining. Could be used to move around cargo containers? I possible balance issue could be making small ships obsolete. Possible making them slow and very energy draining could be useful? Thanks either way :D

ID Cards for Turrets

I have heard a suggestion regarding turrets only firing on enemy factions, but I feel like having only one condition for fire somewhat limiting. My alternative would be that in order to avoid fire from turrets, you must be carrying the appropriate ID card to pass unscathed. Custom Wiring of power systems

When designing ships I feel that the power systems are too simple to survive a situation in combat. There's no current way of having a backup power system to power auxiliary systems i.e. backup engines, gravity generators, gyros. A custom wiring solution from the k panel could be an idea from which you can select from a drop down which group is powered by the primary power system or the secondary power system
