Magnetic rails

I had an idea of having a magnetic rail block it would be similar to the landing gear but function differently. Basically it would be two different blocks one would be the actual rail and the other would be the connector block which you could add to whatever you want to move. The rail system could be controlled by either object so you could control it from the rail side or control it from the connector side.

Landing plates

The idea is to build plates that would be immune to the truster damage and absorb the kinetic energy from landing gears of the ships, but the armour of the plates would be the same as a light armour blocks have. Thise plates will be good just for building landing pads or for interior.

More types of blocks and stairs

Well this is really multiple suggestions sutch as

 

Steaper stairs of 1 block instead of 2.

the ability to coloured doors, possibly adding bigger doors like 2 blocks.

Half blocks possibly?

and i am sure more people would really love some way to create a big door, the current rotators are a bit useless in my eye's the idea is great just never fits and always breaks something

Large Gyroscopes.

Like building stupidly large ships? Tired of filling room after room with gyroscopes? Well here is the solution! Very simple really, I propose a 3x3x3 gyroscope for larger ships. It would require more materials, but provide much more torque. So rather than needing 400 teeny gyros, you could make do with 10 or so of these. Writing on blocks

Add the possibility to write on blocks, letters, numbers, symbols as arrows, warnings, caution stripes (yellow and black, white and red) and some wrighting symbols as " ! - . ". Minimum size of the font would be a small ship block, maximum size, large ship block. Also, the small font should be enabled for the large block, so we could wirte things like "exit ->" "<- Generator (radiation warning symbol)" inside the ships ...more »

Automatic container sorting

The ability to tag containers within a network to contain specific items or types of items automatically. At the moment sorting must be done manually, or through use of mods.

 

This functionality could also extend to refineries, allowing players to task individual refineries with the refinement of certain types of ore.

Maneuvering Thrusters For Pitch, roll & Yaw control

At the moment, the only way to control the roll, pitch or yaw of your ship is to use gyroscopes. Gyroscopes are great and all, but filling room after room with them in order to get decent manoeuvrability out of your ship isn't exactly realistic. Stronger blocks or weaker weapons and meteorites

Well strait up i know the Title says "Stronger blocks or weaker weapons and meteorites" But i will strait up say i would prefer stronger blocks instead of weaker weapons Personally i think most blocks at the moment are way to weak. Example you are able to shoot the front of the red ship strait from back of the ship in 5 missile shots if you ask me 5 shots in the back should severely damage the back, but not cut the ...more »

Coordinance system and target painter
