All objects in game (which don't have there thrusters enabled) would be affected by collisions and gravity which would change that objects velocity.
[Start on an asteroid, similar to the one with the docking pad. build a ship station, whatever. Travel in a direction to find a lone asteroid. This asteroid has abundance of iron, but barely anything else. mine a full load and travel to the next, or return to starting point and add it to your station. Repeat. this one has uranium, this one doesn't.] (implemented) [find an abandoned station raided by pirates. has barely ...more »
Since it might be a while before planets are made, the best and easiest way to get good terrain to do stuff(like race in your dune buggies or create an atmosphere) would be to supply CREATIVE TOOLS like the inverse of the jackhammer (that builds on the asteroid) and more powerful forms of those to enable terraforming. This is a great feature for map makers, so please like ; D
Space is a dangerous place. Natural Phänomens like asteroid bombardment, solar flares and radiation can be a threat even for big stations and equipped astronauts. But also oxygen loss, low temperatures and darkness can be life threatening. What are you going to do to preserve your oxygen supplies? How long will you survive without it? What will you do to protect your stations from incoming asteroids and debris at high ...more »
Well at the moment, in survival for example we have a place where we could place a block but we can't because there is a asteroid in the way, i would love to see this limitation removed so we can partially build into the asteroids and make it look good. It can even nice for creative, build a tunnel tru a asteroid of blocks then dig out the rock inside the tunnel itself only? then the tunnel will took perfectly attached ...more »
When I travel in space and discover asteroid/asteroid field, I always save its position along with spotted ores, so I can trade those coords with other players or use them to go back later and mine them. However, I find it very annoying to do it every single time manually, even if I have ore detector mounted in my ship. Therefore I wish there would be function for either current Ore Detector or new Advanced Ore Detector, ...more »
Right now it's unclear what the purpose of landing on planets is. The Keen Developers are waiting for the community to suggest ideas. The purpose of planets could be as follows: OPTION 1: You spawn on planets, forage & scavenge items from ruins/natural resources and build your way to space. From space, due to fuel limitations, you can only explore near space until you are strong enough to finally leave your home planet ...more »
