Space Engineers is a good game, however after a while you start to feel lonely, you might have the biggest ship ever made but what's the use when only you can just fly it around, so, I propose on there to be some non playable characters in the game that you could have for yourself like a crew(NPCs can be both human and alien). I had an idea of having a magnetic rail block it would be similar to the landing gear but function differently. Basically it would be two different blocks one would be the actual rail and the other would be the connector block which you could add to whatever you want to move. The rail system could be controlled by either object so you could control it from the rail side or control it from the connector side.
Currently, there is very little challenge to the game, which is absolutely fine for a creative mode. But when survival is implemented there will need to be something to survive against. This could be done by having some AI Space Engineers that inhabit some asteroids or pre-loaded stations, but not all. what you should add next is to be able to have mutable cockpits and have then as stations such as Communications, Gunnery Control, Navigation, Security etc as this will make the game play feel much more real and you may want to think about adding some kind of blocks that would a allow a play to place large large battle ship style guns on board and to be able to control them form the bridge of the ship
Diffrent worlds to explore with some kind of hostile/friendly alien AI and diffrent gravitation. Misilles that disable electricity on hit and heat seeking misilles. Blocks that make other blocks move and some kind of force field sistem. And if the nuclear reactor would get damaged it would blow up.
The idea is that antenna 1 receives info from antenna 2 and steps it up or extends 2's signal to everything within 1's range.
This would be a site feature which would either remove or hide suggestions which have already been implemented. As it is right now, this site is clogged with year-old suggestions that have now been added, or taken care of in some way. It makes no sense to have it available to vote on if it is now dead, and makes finding other ideas a chore.
Add a module that will hide a ship/station visually and/or from turrets and sensors for a short period of time (the time depending on power available and the mass of your ship). The power required would follow a curve, eventually a ship would be simply to big to be cloaked. There may be a minimum amount of energy required to use the cloaking device, say 150 kW for small ships and 1 GW for large ships and stations.
